EXTENDING THE .YU DOMAIN REGISTRATION

You will be able to renew the present .yu domain registrations from 3 November 2008 to 2 March 2009. After this term, the .yu domains which have not been renewed will be deactivated and will stop functioning on the Internet.

The additional term for renewing the .yu domain registrations starts on 3 March 2009 and ends on 30 April 2009. If the .yu domain is renewed within the additional term, it will be reactivated on the Internet. The remaining .yu domains, which are not renewed within the specified time period, will be permanently deleted from the register on 4 May 2009.

Maintaining the .yu domain register and propagating information on .yu domains on the Internet will cease on 30 September 2009, regardless of the renewal date. On the very day, all .yu domains will stop functioning on the Internet!

The procedure presented here for maintaining .YU domain will function up to 3 March 2009. After this date all maintenance of renewed .YU domain will be possible via registrar of .rs domains.

EXAMPLES:

If your company does not use the possibility to renew the registration of the www.companyname.co.yu domain until 2 March 2009, your Website and electronic mail will stop functioning on the Internet, as of that day.

Should, however, your company decide to renew the registration of the www.companyname.co.yu domain, your domain will be reactivated on the Internet, and your Website and electronic mail will function until the last day of using the .yu domain, i.e. 30 September 2009.

However, unless you renew the registration of your www.companyname.co.yu domain until 30 April 2009, all data on it will be permanently inaccessible on 4 May 2009.
